SIVECO Romania presents dedicated solutions to the Oil&Gas sector at the 20th edition of the International Caspian Oil & Gas Conference in Azerbaijan
Over 600 guests from all over the world participated in the debate on global strategic topics
SIVECO Romania participated in the anniversary edition of the International Caspian Oil&Gas Conference, held in Baku, Azerbaijan, during June 5-6th 2013. Over 600 delegates from the Unites States of America, Great Britain, Russia, Norway, Romania, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Israel and European Union representatives, businessmen and specialists joined for this extremely important event. 
The conference, organized under the high patronage of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, His Excellency Ilham ALIYEV and with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Energy and the national oil company SOCAR, aimed at debating current topics such as energy security, energy supply and the know-how exchange in the field of exploration, production and processing of oil and petro-chemicals. The event reunited the launch and presentation of the most innovative products dedicated to the oil industry. The importance of the event and the participants’ extremely high interest are directly associated with the rich oil&gas resources in the Caspian Sea region, and with the key role of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the new geostrategic configuration in this global interest area.
Within the event, SIVECO delegation presented the company’s international expertise in delivering solutions dedicated to the Oil & Gas sector and highlighted the way that top notch software solutions contribute to increasing the efficiency and raising the profitability of the processes specific to the field. The most recent success story in this respect is the implementation of the integrated and customized ERP system, SIVECO Applications 2020 at Black Sea Terminal (BST) in Georgia. BST, port and maritime terminal dedicated to the transportation of oil products, is owned with a majority share by SOCAR, the national oil company of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The implemented solution covers the maintenance, inventory and procurement management, fixed assets management, financial management, human resources and payroll management and includes a business intelligence information system, an invaluable instrument for current operational and strategic management activities.
