A spectacular act of SIVECO at Future Communities Open Innovation Fair

At the end of October, Bucharest hosted the Conference  "Future Communities // Open Innovation Fair", where SIVECO as present with innovative  solutions, which were praised by the European Commissioner  for Digital Agenda

Platform of new ideas for the future, the conference presented the opportunities existing in Romania in the fields of technology and inn ovation, ideas, solutions and services that can be applied to the benefit of modern communities.

For three days, the visitors entering  the Bucharest Metropolitan Library were attracted by the sector dedicated to eLearning, where we had the occasion to see how the school of the future looks like, an open system, with formal and informal elements blended together, with information becoming knowledge by means of the SIVECO educational content. Visitors could test the virtual labs of physics, biology and chemistry, digital manuals, multi-touch type of systems for project based learning, with cutting edge Microsoft technologies. 

Pupils from the "Grigore Moisil" National College masterly guided by professor Mihaela Garabet, Ph.D., performed an outstanding demo in front of famous guests: Neelie Kroes - European Commissioner  for the Digital Agenda, Dacian Cioloș - European Commissioner  for Agriculture, Dan Nica – Minister of the Information Society and Mihnea Costoiu – delegated Minister for Higher Education, Scientific Research and Technological Development. 

There were robots walking through the company’s stand, the multi-touch table was transforming SF into reality, while the high school pupil were quickly building an efficient and environment safe energy system for their school, just under our very eyes.

After the completion of the official visit, Mrs. Neelie Kroes came back for a few minutes at the SIVECO team, in order to continue her dialogue with the inventor-pupils from Moisil High School.
