2001 Computerized Admission in Schools and High-schools - Case Study in Lisbon

Bucharest, 16th May 2002 - ADLIC program (Computerized Admission in Schools and High-schools) developed by SIVECO Romania and implemented by the Romanian Ministry of Education and Research (MEC) will be presented as case study at the World Education Market Conference and at "e-Government, e-Public Services" communication session held in Lisbon between 21st - 25th May.

ADLIC is one of the 24 worldwide applications selected as case studies at this well-known event.

ADLIC application is part of SEI program (Computerized Educational System) developed by MEC together with SIVECO Romania, Compaq Romania, HP Romania and IBM Romania on the occasion of 2001 high-school admission. The European Commission rewarded ADLIC solution for its quality with the "Best Practice" title.

"SEI educational program supports the teaching reform objectives, complying with the e-Europe strategy initiated by the European Community. It is also an integrated part of the European e-Learning project", declared Mr. Valentin Cotârţă, General Director at MEC IT Department.

In addition, MEC and SIVECO Romania will present the following projects at Lisbon exhibition of educational products that will take place in the same time with World Education Market Conference: Educational Assistant for High-schools, EVALMAN and the www.portal.edu.ro educational portal.
