ROMANIAN EMPLOYERS ASSOCIATION, headquartered in  Bucharest, no.17 – 19, Luigi Galvani  street, 2nd District, as Beneficiary  of the project “A.C.I.P. -  Ensuring equal opportunities on the labor market for women in the development regions Bucharest - Ilfov, Center and North-East through Qualifying, Initiation and Improvement“, national partners:  “Lucian Blaga” University in Sibiu, SC SIVECO Romania SA and FIDELITAS YOUTH ASSOCIATION Miercurea Ciuc have the pleasure to invite you at the event for launching the project developed within the contract concluded with AM POSDRU through the Intermediary Regional Body (OIR) for the Sectorial Operational  Program for Human Resources Development  - West Region. 

The project aims as general objective increasing women’s employment opportunities and equal access to the jobs market through their participation in the lifelong training programs and by promoting measures for ensuring equal opportunities. The project’s activities contribute to carrying out the overall objective POS DRU - “Equal opportunities and respect”, including information campaigns, professional training courses, evaluation and certifying the competences acquired, having the role of generating long term positive effects for the target group -  in the act of integration on the labor market.

Through the specific activities proposed to be carried out and through the results anticipated subsequent to the project’s implementation, 72 seminars to be attended by 1,440 persons will take place in the three development regions; out of these persons, a number of 1,100 women will have the possibility to opt for qualification/ requalification, initiation/specialization programs and qualification/ improvement and equal opportunities programs.

The partnership aims at promoting the concept of integrated approach, in the sense of incorporating the principle of equal opportunities between women and men and of eliminating the gender inequalities and gender discrimination in running the training programs.  

The project launch event will end with a working dinner, which will provide occasions for free discussions in an informal setting.
