SIVECO Romania receives the ANEIR Grand Trophy for the export performances

Innovative technologies and quality products promoting Romanian intelligence and generating business growth globally

Within the Gala of the National Exporters and Importers Association in Romania (ANEIR), SIVECO Romania was awarded the ANEIR Grand Trophy „Petru Crişan” 2013 for exceptional export results in the period 2009 - 2013.

"In 2008, SIVECO took a courageous decision: launching large projects on international markets. Today, a great bulk of company’s turnover comes from our export to 27 countries on 4 continents, replicating the expertise gained through national large scale national projects. We have recently signed a contract with the Ministry of Education in Malta, for implementing the largest educational project in this country. At the beginning of October 2013 we opened a new subsidiary in Turkey’s capital city, Ankara. This is the fifth international commercial office and the third office opened by the company in Asia, thus marking the extension of our commercial activities in this geographic area. Through innovative technologies and our quality products, we are exporting Romanian know-how", has stated Florian Ciolacu, Vice-president International Sales, SIVECO Romania.

The awards for the most active companies as far as export is concerned were granted by Nicolae Văcăroiu – President of the Court of Accounts, Mugur Isărescu – Governor of the Romanian National Bank, and Mihai Ionescu – ANEIR General Secretary, Co-President of Romania’s Export Council.

"It has been an extremely difficult year and therefore, all of you present here nominated in Top 100 and 500 exporters deserve a big applause, as you succeeded in getting positive results. It is a great achievement. You fully deserve this recognition", declared Mrs. Nicolae Văcăroiu, Court of Accounts President.

The companies registering positive results in export were nominated based on the data sent by the National Statistics Institute (Top 1,000 Exporters) and a set of indicators applied by ANEIR, which has shortlisted the selection, nominating a shortlist of 25 successful companies for the annual awards. Among the sectors registering good results in export this year, one may find the IT solutions, machinery and unique heavy industry equipments, industrial and naval equipments, railways rolling stock and light industry as well.

During the period January - August 2013 Romania registered an 8% growth of inside and outside EU, reaching 32 billion euro, as compared to the same period of 2012, when the exports were worth 29.6 billion euro.
