CSR Report of SIVECO Romania received the Ruban d'Honneur, in the category for Corporate Sustainability Award from the European Business Award

The first Social Responsibility Report of SIVECO Romania, published earlier this year, received an important distinction: Ruban d'Honneur, in the category for Corporate Sustainability Award from the European Business Awards. SIVECO Romania was nominated recently in Rome for the final phase of this prestigious competition.

European Business Awards recognize and promote excellence, best practice and innovation in European business environment, having regard to the standards of the most representative companies in the Member States.

Companies selected to Ruban d'Honneur are considered as prestigious companies.

SIVECO Romania was in competition with projects of renowned companies such as Ricoh Europe, HP Germany, Enel Italy, ING Netherlands.

The jury who selected the applications and decided which projects deserve to receive Ruban d'Honneur distinction: Prof. Laurent Bibard, Dean of ESSEC Business School, France, Guy Black, former Director of Communication the Conservative Party in Britain, currently Director of Corporate Affairs Telegraph Media Group, Professor Gilbert Lenssen, President of the European Academy of Business, Dr. Peter White, a professor at Oxford University, Berkeley and Tucson, Global Sustainability Director P & G, Nick Wright, Managing Director, Corporate and Community Affairs Responsability UBS (Swiss Bank Corporation), Philip Forrest, Chairman of the National Business Awards in the UK and Scotland.

"The award granted to SIVECO Romania for its first social responsibility report, document still singular at the Romanian firms, shows that we are a European company, that may compete with famous companies and then it comes to attitude toward the community in which we live, from partners, customers, shareholders and employees," said Anca Crahmaliuc, Marketing & Communication Manager, SIVECO Romania.

Launch of the CSR has attracted attention and public opinion in Romania

In the sixth edition of the People for People Gala, organized by the Association for Community Relations and the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham), which awards annual social involvement of companies, CSR project of SIVECO Romania was nominated in the category "The best communion program".

Also within the same competition, was nominated the SIVECO Romania participation at and the civic conference "On the proper use of democracy", in partnership with the Romanian Association of Debate, Oratory and Rhetoric (ARDOR).
