Within this project, the "Report on the training needs in information technology and communication of the employees from the financial - banking sector" will be carried out by the experts involved, with support of 8 prestigious specialists in the field.

The Study has pointed out the needs for training and improvement in the ITC field for the employees of financial - banking sector, both in the area of basic solutions, and also in the area of actual use of the specialized systems.

From the interesting conclusions of the report it has clearly resulted also an increase of the needs for professional training, especially in the area of data management, of the support solutions for decisions making, including the solutions for sales support, of those of data security and the prevention of money laundering. An outstanding stress has been laid by the respondents referring to alternative distribution channels (internet and mobile banking) and to modern payment systems.

The training needs mostly highlighted by the mentioned report are of the employees in the defining and sales of the financial-banking products and services.

In other words, the TICFIN project meets a stringent and immediate need for professional training of the specialists working in a vital field of the Romanian economy and which the good functioning of all the other sectors depends on.

The report also includes a section of conclusions, extremely interesting, referring to the development of the Romanian financial - banking market.

The topic and content of the courses will be adjusted to all these stringent needs identified within the report presented. Subsequent to the skills developed through the TICFIN project, the employees in the financial sector will become more adjusted and more efficient, due to the understanding of the optimal use of the new technologies in information and communication.
