The consortium led by SIVECO will ensure the European Commission’s Taxation and Customs Union Directorate-General, DG TAXUD the provision of services that will be used by all 28 EU countries, covering multifaceted training support programmes, eLearning development and communication services in the field of customs and taxation

As on the 1st of May a new Taxation Code will be enforced, the European Commission’s, DG TAXUD is consistently acting both at EU level and in each of the 28 member countries, to support the implementation of EU customs and tax legislation and policies, to reinforce high quality service provision, and to foster consistent performance by the customs and tax profession within the EU. Immediate, correct and intuitive dissemination of the new rules to national customs institutions, economical operators and general public is essential.

Thus, to achieve its goals, the European Commission has selected the consortium composed of SIVECO Romania and INTRASOFT International to provision (within the B-Train 3 Framework Contract) services covering multifaceted EU training support programmes, eLearning development, and communication services in the field of customs and taxation.

The programme that will be implemented at DG TAXUD will lead to more uniform and efficient customs and tax operations throughout the EU, and will further enhance consistent performance and harmonised implementation of common legislative measures. Moreover, the project will support the experts and officials in customs and taxation, as well as economic operators, by informing, training and certifying them, communicating and exchanging best practice. For the first time, the new EU Taxation Code puts the general public in direct relationship with DG TAXUD which imposes an efficient communication at this level.
