Bucharest, 22th of December 2011 – The programs for human resources development, the research projects, the projects for introducing IT into education, agriculture, the health sector, the customs and banking one, respectively, of the central and local administration are the ways through which SIVECO Romania is contributing to carrying out the Digital Agenda. All these ensure citizens wide and non-discriminatory access to the public services and reduce the administrative efforts as regards the management and control of activities.
Present at the conference Digital Agenda, Traian Ionescu, councilor of the president of SIVECO Romania, has declared:  „In the future the IT&C industry will represent the major progress factor in society, the use of digital technologies will increase in a spectacular manner, and the industry will have to keep pace with the progress digital technology. This way it is necessary optimization of the financial, human and infrastructure resources. In tune with the new realities will be the „digital natives”, while Facebook, Bebo or Twitter will have a significant expansion. The number of virtual jobs will multiply. All of these are the reasons why we do lay stress on the IT-based Education System, the most important project developed in the field of education”.
SIVECO Romania is a significant player on the EU market, in the Member or candidate States, as well as a partner of the European Commission, providing IT services for the Publication Office of the European Commission – the portal CORDIS, European Aviation Safety Agency, EUROSTAT and Euroaid, projects funded through the European programs Leonardo da Vinci, Socrates, eContentPlus.

The goal of Digital Agenda for Europe 2020 is designing a path aiming at exploiting at the fullest the social and economical potential of IT&C, especially of the Internet, which represents an essential support of the economic and social activities, either we speak of business, work, play, the need to communicate or to express ourselves freely.
