SIVECO Romania, in the competition for the title of National Champion at European Business Awards 2013/14

For the fifth year in a row, SIVECO Romania has qualified itself in the race for title of National Champion at the prestigious competition European Business Awards, where it has already won three time the highest award: Ruban d’Honneur (in 2009, 2011 and 2012).

In order to add more popularity and interactivity to the contest, this year the organizers have introduced another phase of online public vote, for the title European Champion, which will start on January 14, 2014 and will end on March 25, 2014.

The supporters of SIVECO Romania – customers, partners, ant not only them – are invited to vote the presentation film during the period November 11, 2013 – January 2, 2014, at the address http://www.businessawardseurope.com/vote/detail/romania/8294

"We were delighted to produce the video clip for presenting our achievements for 2012-2013, where we have also made a short review of the most important stages in the company’s life. We are confident that this competition too is an opportunity for us to present our products portfolio at the international level and we are proud of what we achieved during a period troubled of very difficult economic conditions. Our customers and partners have a time span of 7 weeks for granting us their vote online. While the online voting campaign goes on, a jury formed of experts at European level will analyze the companies video presentations registered in the competition, and subsequently will nominate the National Champion in January 2014, between the two companies selected as finalists from Romanian.

Adrian Tripp, CEO of European Business Awards, declared: "The public vote is a very important part of the Awards as it gives these entrepreneurial companies another way of showcasing their achievements to a wider audience across Europe. It was a huge success last year, with over 35,000 votes cast."

In the subsequent phases of the competition, the National Champions will be evaluated by a European jury formed of business leaders, academics and entrepreneurs, who will award the top 110 organizations the coveted Ruban d’Honneur status.

In the final stage will be designated the winners of the Ruban d’ Honneur trophy, while the grand prize will be granted during a ceremony in May 2014.

How Does Public Voting Work?

The audience’s vote takes place online in the period November 14, 2013 – January 2, 2014, on the web site www.businessawardseurope.com.

Visitors have to choose, firstly, the Romanian flag, then to go through all the companies enlisted by the selected country.

When selecting a company, visitors will find the vote button on the home page corresponding to the video clip of the respective company. Each supporter can vote just once a video clip from a country. There is no mechanism for multiple votes. There is no need for registration, while results are confidential, so that the selection process shall be objective and transparent.
