The event aimed to point out the necessity of offering the students access to technology and underlined the importance of ITC in the teaching-learning process.

Within the event, Stefan Morcov, Product Manager within SIVECO Romania,  marked the level reached by the Romanian educational system, as a consequence of implementing The IT Based Educational System (SEI). SEI offered to the majority of teachers and students an IT laboratory equipped with 10 or 25 computers, a server, an eLearning platform and AeL interactive content.

SIVECO involvement in the educational area, especially in introducing ICT in schools, is already a tradition for our company. Another initiative that proves our involvement in the development of educational system is CUPA SIVECO competition. At the beginning of June with the support of ISJ Timis, Microsoft and Intel, took place the final of the 4th edition of this competition. The works that reached the final will be published on SEI portal http://portal.edu.ro/. The educational software developers, teachers and students,  participate every year to the SIVECO Summer Camp. Also our company offered its support to MedC in organizing “Scoala mea” contest, a laudable project of this institution. These actions aren’t punctual, are a strategy of investing in future”, declared Stefan Morcov, SIVECO Romania representative.
