International award for Romanian researchers

SIVECO Romania received the Best Paper Award from International Association of Engineers and computer scientists

Bucharest, September 16, 2009 - International specialists are interested in European projects developed by SIVECO Romania. In the World Congress of Engineering, organized by the International Association of Engineers and experts in Information Technology (IAENG), held recently in London, article written by our colleagues Monica Florea, Lucian Jelea and Anca Ionita (Polytechnic University of Bucharest), about LD CAST European project, received his Best Paper Award.

Article entitled "Correspondence between different architectural perspectives of a transnational business system designed SOA (Service Oriented Architecture)" details the experience of Romania in the project SIVECO LD CAST, using architectural analysis model "4+1 View Architecture" and highlighting difficulties encountered in building a flexible platform to meet European Commission requirements for eGovernment projects. The article was appreciated by participants from the "World Congress of Engineering" as one original and useful.

LD CAST project (Local Development Cooperation Actions Enabled by Semantic Technology) referred to the authors of the article, in which SIVECO Romania is partner proposes a cooperation between European chambers of commerce through a network integrated public services to private companies. The project provides a framework for cooperation both locally and globally, to allow Chambers of Commerce in Europe to open local agencies to act as an access point to services provided by participating organizations.
