Teachers will learn how to efficiently integrate IT resources into the education process

The Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sports and SIVECO Romania SA in partnership with SIVECO Romania announce the launch of the project "Training in the Knowledge Society".

The Project "Training in the Knowledge Society" aims at developing the human capital in the pre-university education, at increasing the teaching staff competitiveness, as well as increasing the efficiency of the education system in Romania.

During the project to unroll up to October 2011, 3,000 trainer teachers will be trained, at entire country level. At the end of the training, the teachers participating in this program will get a certificate acknowledging the trainer status.

The project "Training in the Knowledge Society" is co-financed by the European Social Fund through the Sectorial Operational Program Human Resources Development.

The objective of the project "Training in the Knowledge Society" is to encourage teachers to develop their professional skills and to provide solutions for optimizing the teaching process, by presenting the latest manners of introducing and using ITC solutions into education.

The project promotes integration the new technologies into education and aims at adapting the Romanian education system to the new requirements and challenges imposed by building of the knowledge society, playing an actual contribution to the implementation of the European Employment Strategy.
