Middle East countries allocate more than 30 billion USD for education

Recently in Dubai ended the 2nd edition of the “eLearning Excellence in the Middle East” Forum. The event was organized under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The forum reunited the most important experts, practitioners, researchers, eLearning suppliers and decision makers involved in implementing education projects in the Middle East.  

With budgets exceeding 30 billion USD and long-term strategies regarding the development of the education systems, the countries from Middle East represent an important and growing market. To efficiently allocate the important budgets allocated for education, the Middle East countries select very carefully their partners among the companies that are capable of implementing and localizing major and complex projects aimed at improving the national education systems. 

At the Forum, SIVECO Romania presented the AeL eLearning solution and the education projects implemented in the Middle East region. With an established reputation at international level, SIVECO Romania is recognized as an important supplier of eLearning solutions. The company participated in developing of the first national education portal from UAE (United Arab Emirates). At the present more than 30,000 students have access to the resources provided by the portal.

Following the national strategy for the development of the education system in UAE, SIVECO Romania develops within the project 2,000 Arabic and English interactive lessons. 

The trends of the global and regional education market were discussed during the workshops organized at the “eLearning Excellence in the Middle East” Forum. The discussions focused on revolutionary technologies, modern methods of pedagogy and education management as well as on the social, psychological and cultural implications relevant for the region’s development. In all these areas, Romanian specialists have the essential expertise.
