Bucharest 12th of January 2006 – Following its excellent growth during the last few years SIVECO Romania continued to have during 2005 outstanding results

Outstanding financial results:

SIVECO Romania’s turnover reached 37.6 million USD in 2005, keeping up with the previous years in terms of increase. For 2006, we estimate an increase of 20 percent compared to last year.

Consolidating the position on the local market:

The market studies made by IDC place SIVECO Romania in the top EAS and IT services suppliers. It is the only Romanian software company that manages to climb tops dominated by multinational system integrators.

SIVECO Romania controls 18.7 percent of the local EAS market, being the leader of Romanian software solution providers, and 9.2 percent of the local IT services market. The company is number one on Custom Application Development market with a 28,4% market share and also ranked first in the Applications Consulting and Customization foundation market with a 22,7% market share.

Investments attracted:

Coming as a confirmation of our performance, the shareholders of SIVECO Romania includes the strategic investment funds Intel Capital and Enterprise Investors, starting with 2005. This was the biggest investment made in an IT company in Romania, supporting the company’s intention to act as a regional leader in the future.

Enriching the clients’ portfolio:

SIVECO Romania’s portfolio was enriched with new clients, most of them from the private sector, confirming the value of the commercial strategy we applied both domestically and internationally.

Among the new clients there are: URBAN, COM AUTO MERIDIAN (five companies), ECOFISH JURILOVCA, DANUBIU RO 2002 BUCURESTI - JURILOVCA, URSUS BREWERIES – BRASOV BRANCH, METACOM GRUP 9 (14 companies), THE NATIONAL COMPANIES FOR ROADS AND MOTORWAYS, THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT, CONSTRUCTIONS AND TOURISM, COMVEX CONSTANTA, ULTEX TANDTREI, EXCLUSIV ENB ALIMENT, FEA, CITY HALL OF DISTRICT 3, CFCU -WEB RAMIS, THE TIMISOARA AIRPORT, TRANSILVANIA BANK, SSPR, CONGAZ, UMB COMERCIAL SA BACAU, CELCO CONSTANTA, AVICOLA CALARASI, INTER-METACO DEVA, AVERSA SA, RAFO ONESTI, MOBIFON.

The number of contracts signed was much higher, as a lot of the existing projects were extended, SIVECO Romania’ customer satisfaction survey proving that most of them consider working with us simple and profitable.

In 2006, the company intends to attract 120 new clients.

Highlights of 2005:

Coming to meet the need for training expressed by the Romanian business environment, SIVECO Romania launched at the beginning of the year an educational platform designed for the corporate environment – AeL Enterprise.

The denomination of the leu was also a challenge for developers and implementers of SIVECO Romania. The denomination process started in October 2004, and all the components of SIVECO Applications were successfully installed to all our clients. For the financial – banking sector, the offer was completed with the SIVECO Applications package and with software development and customization services for the treasury and risk management applications

In 2005, SIVECO Romania continued to work at national projects, started in the previous years: The National House for Health Insurance, Petrom and MEdC. We also successfully continued the implementations at Uztel Ploiesti, Romvag, Carpatair, Dobrogea Biscuit and CFR and finished projects like: NTCS, Anticorosiv, Romanceram and the Bucharest City Hall.

Developing partnership relations:

SIVECO Romania signed a series of partnerships with Romanian companies from different regions, companies from Cluj-Napoca, Targu Mures, Neamt, Calarasi, Vrancea, Arges, Brasov and Timisoara. Also, we consolidated our partnership with Microsoft Romania and extended the partnerships with IBM, HP, Bull and Oracle.

For 2006, we intend to increase activity and incomes by establishing efficient relationships with our partners

Increasing the number and quality of the team:

As the business developed, SIVECO Romania’s team increased to almost 450 specialists, supported by an increase in quality also.

SIVECO Romania’s continuous care for improving the employees’ competence through adequate training, creating a pleasant work environment, recognizing the contribution of each of the employee, placed the company on an important 9 position in the top 50 of the “Best companies to work for”, issued by Capital.

Improving the business model:

In 2005, SIVECO Romania proved the values of its business model and was recognized for it at international level, receiving the prestigious “International Gold Star Award” for quality.

National and international recognition:

SIVECO Romania won the World Summit Award for the multimedia content developed on the AeL platform and was a nominee at the eAwards for eGovernment for the It-Based Educational System(SEI), which took place in Manchester.

At national level, SEI received the “Best Bridge over the Digital Divide” Award from PC World Magazine, and the Excellency Award from IDG at the eleventh edition of the Romanian Computer Show.

The business magazine “Saptamana Financiara” awarded the company for internationally expanding the business, and Comunicatii Mobile gave another Excellency Award, for the most prestigious presentation of a Romanian IT solution at the international level.

Also, the readers of Bucharest Business Week designated SIVECO Romania as the “Fastest Growing IT Company in 2005.”

Expanding the corporate social responsibility:

SIVECO Virtual Center for Excellency, started in 2003, is contributing to promoting the creativity in education, through its series of initiatives like the SIVECO CUP, .Campion and SIVECO Summer School competitions. Also, it financially supports actions like the Olympiad in Computer Science, the Balkan competitions, the Virtual Learning National Conference and SIVECO Academy.

The company is also supporting cultural projects, by facilitating the participation of young artists to international competitions and awarding young artists with exceptional results or well-known names in the Romanian cultural environment.

Considering the difficult moments when Romanians needed solidarity more than ever before, SIVECO Romania initiated and supported help campaigns for the victims of the floods from Moldova, either on its own or together with its business partners. SIVECO Romania supported with money and construction materials the victims from Bacau, Galati and Onesti.

Last but not least, SIVECO Romania actively supports the national and international initiatives meant to increase the transparency and credibility level of the Romanian business environment, to eliminate the corruption and consolidate the work ethics.
