The Romanian e-Learning present at the Conference “Best e-Learning Practices In Central and Eastern Europe” 2006, Warsaw

Bucharest, 13th of October 2006 – Recently, SIVECO Romania participated at the first e-Learning Pan-European Conference “Best e-Learning Practices In Central and Eastern Europe”, an event organized in Warsaw by the companies WiedzaNet and Thomson NETg.

Dedicated to companies and institutions that pursue the development and promotion of this training method, the conference brought together over 250 participants from all around Europe. They presented successful implementations of e-Learning solutions in very different business sectors and companies. 

The organizers appreciated SIVECO Romania for it’s experience and invited it to participate with two lectures.

In order to underline the dimension of this phenomenon in Romania, SIVECO representatives had the pleasure to present the SEI program, a project that became the “best practice” of e-Learning implementation in Romanian educational system and AeL, a complete and innovative e-Learning solution included within the program.

Florin Ilia, Vice-President of the company SIVECO Romania SA presented the objective of SEI program (Nationwide Implementation of the IT-Based Educational System in Romania- a Success Story.”), while Radu Jugureanu eContent Project Manager at SIVECO Romania SA presented the AeL platform and the educational content (“AeL - Advanced approach for school teaching, as an essential element of strategy for the development of an information society”).

The results obtained by Romania in this area and the presentation of the solution developed for schools and high schools across the country had been appreciated by the participants at the event, specialists and prominent figures of this area: “Certainly that SEI program for the computerization of Romanian educational system is the most extensive, concrete and coherent e-learning European project, said Sally-Ann Moore, International e-Learning Consultant and e-Learning events Director.

“The quality of the presentations and debated themes underlines the sector’s progress and the importance of e-learning in the training process. The conference held in Warsaw represented a know-how exchange between companies and elearning passionate as well.
