Recently in Iasi took place the 8th edition of the national IT Competition “Urmasii Lui Moisil”. The competition that was hosted by the Informatics High school “Grigore Moisil” aims at becoming an important instrument of selection, training and promoting the real values. The reputation of this competition is due to its quality and the high level of the subjects proposed, the innovative working method and the evaluation at international standards.

The competition was initially addressed to pupils that are part of the “Regional Center for Young People Capable of Performance from Iasi”, but grew into a national event starting with 2007. In this year’s competition took part over 80 pupils from all around the country as well as an excellent team from the Republic of Moldavia.

The contest stage for the national IT Competition “Urmasii lui Moisil” had the same subjects as the 13th round of the .campion competition. After the 13th stage, which is the last from the online competition, the first 50 competitors that got the higher scores, were qualified for the grand final. The .campion final will take place in Bran, during the 8th to the 11th of May.

I am glad to meet at the “Urmasii lui Moisil” participants in the previous editions of the .campion competition and I am eager to see again many of them in the grand final.
