SIVECO Romania acknowledges the importance of young journalists’ education

Bucharest, July 11, 2005 - The Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication Studies (FJSC) from the University of Bucharest, one of the Romanian institutions that form future journalists, recently celebrated 15 years of activity.  This event market an important moment not only for the institution, but also for the communication and journalism in general.

At the round table, “Forming professionals in communication sciences”, the participants were deans from journalism and communication faculties in Romania, academic representatives, the French Cultural Center, the American Cultural Center, as well as important companies for the Romanian economy, advertising agencies, mass-media.

SIVECO Romania actively involves in the life of the communities were it conducts its activity, with sustained participation in social and cultural events.

For SIVECO Romania, the support for the FJSC’s event is an honor, and represents the beginning of a partnership with a very special institution for the quality of the Romanian media, for the Romania society as well.

This event has special meanings.

We consider the support for education as mission that must be assumed with responsibility.  For the journalism’s school already records 15 years of activity, it is a great achievement and certainly a great victory for the free speech in Romania”, said Irina Socol, general manager SIVECO Romania.
