SIVECO Romania at Online Educa Berlin 2005

Bucharest, 06 of December 2005 - The 11th edition of the most important event dedicated to eLearning, ONLINE EDUCA took place in Berlin at the beginning of December.

The Romanian team was made up by the winners of the National Education Software Competition – SIVECO CUP 2005: Andrei Basangiu, pupil, Alexandru Popa and Marius Bratu, who are already students beginning with this fall, together with their teachers Corina Graţiela Hăloiu and Adina Stănculescu from Energetic Industrial School Group of Rm. Valcea,  "Gheorghe Lazăr" National College of Sibiu.

This year edition gathered along the 4 conference, workshops and exhibitions days a record number of 1890 participants from 73 countries, this event being one of the most important reunion of the professionals on the eLearning market: prominent e-learning providers and developers, training providers, publishers, public and governmental institutions, universities.

Numerous organizations presented their products and projects within the exhibition, among which the Romanian delegation. The authors of Teoria Grafurilor educational software applications, which placed them on the podium of the 2005 SIVECO CUP competition, were proud to present their work in front of a well informed international public, used with computer assisted learning. Also, the Romanian pupils could take part in workshops on several subjects of interest.

Besides sponsoring the first ranked in SIVECO Cup 2005’s participation to EDUCA, SIVECO Romania made a remarkable presentation of AeL lessons, recent World Summit Awards winners.

AeL platform triggered the attention of the Romanian pavilion visitors by its originality, usability, added value by interactivity and quality of the educational content, as well as by its great number of users: 700.000 teachers and pupils.
