SIVECO Romania organizes the second session of the Intel®Teach –Teaching in the Knowledge Society course

Bucharest, 28th of August 2007 During the 23rd of August and the 1st of September, SIVECO Romania will organize the second training session of the Program, Intel®Teach - Teaching in the Knowledge Society. The 92 teachers from all over Romania who were selected based on rigorous criteria, will get at the end of the course the “Master Teacher” diploma.

The 17 teachers that received the “Senior Teacher” diploma after the first session of the Program and Otilia Pacurari - a very experienced teachers’ instructor, will train the participants.

Intel®Teach – Teaching in the Knowledge Society professional development Program, helps teachers to get familiarize with multiple ways of using the computer and the Internet as means of communication and making more efficient the teaching process. After participating in this program, teachers will be able to integrate the resources and the technological instruments in their classes, promoting in this way a modern way of teaching, centered on the pupil, and based on participative methods (the project method).

The Romanian teachers are extremely interested in developing new competencies. With the help of Intel®Teach - Teaching in the Knowledge Society Program, teachers learn how to optimize the education process by using efficiently the IT&C solutions in education. This Program presents a modern approach regarding the way in which teachers should help pupils to obtain the necessary skills for the XXI century”, declared Dana Vladoiu, Training Project Coordinator, SIVECO Romania.
