SIVECO Romania presents its eLearning solutions at the Teaching Staff Congress

Over 1000 teachers support education's modernization and professional development through training courses

Bucharest, 31st of August 2010 - In Eforie Sud resort takes place Congress XXXI of the General Association of the Elementary Teachers in Romania (AGIRo) and of the Romanian Teaching Staff from abroad, an event sponsored by SIVECO Romania.

Over 1,000 primary school teachers, educators and teachers debate on the issues of education, professional development through training courses and the setting up of the departments and teams for various international, national or regional projects.

The congress opening took place on 28th of August at "Oleg Danovski" Theatre in Constanţa, while the works take place in Eforie Sud, until today, 31st of August. The event is attended by officials from the Ministry of Education in the Republic of Moldova, representatives of the General Association of the Elementary Teachers in Romania - the Republic of Moldova subsidiary, teaching staff of the Romanian minority from Hungary, Transcarpathia, North Bucovina, South Bessarabia, Transdniester, Republic of Moldova, Bulgaria, Macedonja, Albania, Timoc-Morava, Serbian Banat that protect the frontiers of Romanian language in their communities.

Within the section "Educational materials, school books, educational software", SIVECO Romania has presented its eLearning solutions. "Our educational products cover an extremely wide range, from creating interactive educational content to the development of eLearning platforms and educational portals and are addressed to an extremely various audience - pupils, teachers, students, employees, decision making factors from the education system. The eLearning AeL solution is currently used in over 15,000 schools from Europe, Near East, Africa and CIS. The AeL eContent Library contains over 3,700 interactive lessons, covering 21 subject matters and includes over 16,000 individual learning moments", said Viorel Jigman, eLearning Project Manager within SIVECO Romania.

This year, SIVECO Romania has launched the integrated information system based on the AeL solution in Morocco, where pupils and teachers from 9,000 schools will benefit from it, and in the Republic of Moldova it has launched the project for the implementation of multimedia educational content in 20 high schools. Also this year, the company has completed the educational project for 700 schools in Cyprus, which benefits of an integrated eLearning platform and digital educational content, as well as the project for implementing a completely new educational platform and of an inter-connected educational framework in Azerbaijan.
