SIVECO Romania’s Balance for the First Half of 2003

Bucharest, 14th August 2003 - The first half of 2003 confirmed SIVECO Romania’s forecasts at the beginning of the year.

The company turnover in the first two semesters of 2003 reached 6 million USD - according to the business plan for this time period.

"Not only have we reached our financial goals for this time period, but we have also started to sign contracts for 2004 and 2005", declares Irina SOCOL, General Manager, SIVECO Romania.

According to the IDC study concerning the ERP market for 2002 - its results have recently been communicated to the participants in this research - SIVECO Romania is the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) provider with the highest yearly rate increase (57%) of the market share. During the past two years the company has increased its market share, in 2002 having 10,8% of the ERP solutions market.

In  2002 SIVECO was the first in the top of the Romanian enterprise resource management providers and among the first three ERP providers in Romania.

SIVECO Applications sales during the first half of the year - a time period along which 10 new customers chose the company’s products and services - confirm the 2002 trend.

"We have been going on in the same alert rhythm in which we started last year projects. Moreover, we renewed contracts with clients in Germany, France, Belgium and identified new business opportunities abroad - we have started one of our most important projects with an important customer in Croatia", SOCOL continues.

According to the projects evolution, SIVECO team has also increased, from 170 specialists at the beginning of the year, to almost 200 - the increase in number being accompanied by the one in quality.

Recently, the company quality system has been successfully audited by AFAQ ASCERT INTERNATIONAL, one of the most prestigious and exigent certification organizations in the world.

"All these premises make us look very optimistically towards the second half of the year, as well as towards our long-term plans", SOCOL concludes.
