SIVECO Romania's expertise in research and education acknowledged by NATO

Officials of NATO Training Group appreciated the first acheivements of the company in the field of multi-touch educational technologies.

Bucharest, 26th of April 2010 - The international scientific conference "eLearning and Software for Education" (eLSE), organized by the "Carol I" National Defense University in Romania and attended by NATO delegates and education experts from 18 countries, ended with an important aknowledgement. SIVECO Romania has received a "Certificate of Appreciation" from the NATO Training Group for supporting educational development programs.

The NATO delegation of Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) experts paid a visit to SIVECO Romania headquarters, where they were presented with the first achievements in the field of multi-touch educational technologies, subject to a large scale project developed through cooperation between the Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sport, SIVECO Romania and the "Carol I" National Defense University.

"Our national and international experience in the area of research and education is a extremely consistent one, and, therefore, very appreciated. The ability of cooperation between SIVECO Romania and "Carol I" National Defense University, as well as the types of educational content we are providing to high schools and in the military field, have raised the attention of NATO experts, who have presented their outspoken appreciation. This recognition is the more precious, the more known and recognized is the exigency involved when the NATO group selects its potential partners", said Radu Jugureanu, Director AeL eContent Department within SIVECO Romania.

The NATO delegation was lead by group's president, Joseph Camacho, along with Dr. Robert Wisher, one of the ADL promoters.

SIVECO Romania is partner with ADL Initiative, an initiative within the Department of Defence of the United States, which defines the standards and specifications for computer aided training, and with ADL Romania. The status of ADL partner implies the recognition of SIVECO Romania's performance in the education sector.
