Our plans for this year remain unchanged but, of course, we cannot avoid the general economic circumstances - in which all projects suffer delays or changes. We keep trust that we accomplish our goals for this year and next.

It is a fact that SMEs are most affected by recession. According to statistics employers of small and medium enterprises, over 90% of SMEs face difficulties of various degrees. It is understood that this time the economic going efforts by small companies survive, they reduce investment spending and employees.

Large companies have a different approach. They must have a vision much more on a long term - which implies continued investment in solutions to reduce costs in an intelligent way. Now, more than ever, we need to be competitive.

Based on the requirements expressed by users, medium and large organizations, SIVECO Romania recently launched a new version of solution for business management - SIVECO Applications 2011.

Developing new versions of this package integrated companies bring important benefits in terms of economic efficiency in all spheres of activity: Manufacturing, Utilities, local government and central, Oil and gas, transportation, banking and financial.

In 2009, we continue to perform the projects that develop for private organizations in Romania, the central government and local area eLearning, eHealth, eAgriculture, eCustoms, eBusiness. Invest in those solutions which have a great social impact, influencing the lives of millions of people investing in research and development, which in an area that IT does not exist you can - in any case the long term.

Expertise which it acquired over a period of 17 years of activity in major projects for eLearning, eHealth, eCustoms, eBusiness, has allowed the replication of their countries of Central and Eastern Europe, the European Union, the Community Member Independent, the Near and Middle East, Northern Africa.

Participate in this year in large international projects in the United Arab Emirates, Azerbaijan, Tunisia, and Moldova. In international projects we rely on partnerships with world leaders in the industry (Intel, Microsoft, Oracle, HP, IBM, Bull), but also with companies who have the know-how locally.

Income earned on foreign markets has increasingly consistent revenue to the company. In a strategic aim for this year and keeping the balance of income source from large and less large projects between domestic and international, in areas with high economic growth potential. This policy allows minimizing risk in this economic context, and developing healthy long term.

Still last year, SIVECO Romania started working with partners in education, health, agriculture, local government etc, to develop feasible projects with European funds. We are aware that results will not see more than a year, year and a half, because they have a longer process of evolution - but investment in this direction is absolutely necessary for development in future years.

We believe that the human factor is extremely valuable to any company which is involved in large projects. Since the beginning of the year there were no changes in the number of employees or their income. Staffing fluctuations are normal - but for now hiring policy is very conservative.
