What does an award mean for a company? Recognition of its value, check out against the competition, an acknowledgement of the complexity and originality of its projects. What does it mean when a company reaches a portfolio of 100 awards? In short: as many successes.

Over its 18 years of activity, SIVECO Romania has been awarded 100 national and international awards, offered by most renowned organizations that have fairly and correctly appreciated the quality of the projects developed by the company.

Thus, SIVECO Romania is the first Romanian company to have received first Prize at the World Summit Award, the most recognized world competition on IT projects, for the AeL eContent platform, while the Advanced eLearning platform received a record number of nominations to the ICT Prizes contest, organized annually by the European Council for Applied Sciences, Technology and Engineering (Euro-CASE).

The company's projects in the field of education received the "Best Practice" title from the European Commission and "Honourable Mention" at eEurope Awards for eGovernment, being also considered by the International Project Management Association (IPMA) among the most important achievements worldwide in the field of project management.

SIVECO Romania's contribution to the implementation of the project for introducing IT into education in Romania was awarded with European IT Excellence Award 2008, and with "Best eLearning solution" distinction, within the international competition "eLearning in Praxis", and Special Award within the competition Diskobolos 2009, equivalent to Oscar Prize in the field of IT&C for East European region.

The IT solution implemented by SIVECO Romania at APIA (Payments and Intervention Agency for Agriculture) was awarded the Finalist title in the Big-sized Projects category from the International Project Management Association, while this year it was winner at the Vertical Market category within the IT European Excellence Awards 2010 competition.

The awards received in the country, along the time, were offered for economic performances, as well as for projects in the field of social responsibility, for quality, investment and team on behalf of the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Project Management Association in Romania, National Exporters and Importers Association in Romania, IDG etc.

We do know this is not an easy mission as the standards get higher and higher. It is not just the way in which the application is written and presented, but also about the results of visits paid to the applicant firms' premises, about the testimonials received from beneficiaries, the project's reputation, about the competitors you face in each competition, the way you can prove that the project you register has a positive impact on the society", said Anca Crahmaliuc, Marketing & Communication Manager within SIVECO Romania.
